Hi! I'm a Junior currently enrolled in Biochemistry at Montclair State University with a 3.8GPA. I'm also a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of New Jersey
Experience
I have over 1500+ hours of experience working with students of different backgrounds and abilities, developing individualized plans that allowed them to achieve scores they want. In all that time I've learned one very valuable lesson: the secret to success is to build the student's confidence. Students hate the work because its "too hard" and they believe (based off of previous performance) that "they just weren't born to do it." But here's the thing, they're wrong. I believe that everyone is capable of success; all they need is someone to help break down complex concepts into simpler problem. Once we master those basics, it becomes easier to build up from that foundation. I've spent 3+ years helping students prepare for Standardized Tests (SAT, ACT, APs) as well as exams in math and science. In high school, I received an award for being an AP Scholar with Distinction. I know what its like to sit down for those tests.
